The basic premise that women and men look at the world differently is true. His past involvement with TM and his claim that he spent so many years celebate that sperm seeped out of him from his sweat glands make him sound a little nuts to me.
He was married to a woman that has also made a bundle selling books about relationships. ( Beverly DiAngelus, I most likely mispelled her name )
They could not make their relationship work so they divorced. I always thought it was funny that they were both so successful, but as Steve Forbes grandfather said,"You don't get rich by taking your own advice, you get rich by selling it to others."

Atheists like myself are not the ones who have any proving to do. Medical science does not allow for a woman to become pregnant without a man. It is your wild assertions that screams "Where's the proof?" My statements are based on observable, testable reality. Not the dreams, fantasies and delusions of religious faith.
Christianity is no different then Hinduism, Mithraism, Shamanism or any of the thousands of religions invented by humans. They all have their hard core diehard believers, but they are all inventions of human minds whose claims shatter in the light of objective scrutiny.

I am a huge fan of the TV show and was thrilled to get the DVD box set with the two never aired episodes. I have been waiting for over a year for the movie and thought it was GREAT!
I was surprised at how things unfolded but it was true to the spirit of the show and something of that sort had to happen sometime.
Firefly and Serenety mixes my two favorite genres Science Fiction and post War Between the States Westerns.

Jesus is just one of a long line of mythological gods that die a horrible death and is later resurrected. Christianity borrowed from older mythology.
The man we call Jesus was born of a human father, if not Joseph, then maybe Roman Centurian Naughtius Maximus or another man.
When Jesus was on the cross and said,"My God my God why have you forsaken me?" That is when he realized he was not the Messiah but a deluded human being.
When Jesus died he stayed dead and has long ago turned to dust.

No one rules the world.
There is plenty of healthy political anarchy and the economy is fueled by supply and demand from the masses not a power elite.
No one group can ever rule the world.
Losers create conspiracy theories to have someone to blame for their failures instead of taking responsibility for their own inadequacies.

I was ten years old in 1968 and was scared the whole time. Along with the assasinations, Vietnam War and riots in American cities and colleges, I was convinced that the state where I lived, California, would fall into the Pacific Ocean that year. Psychic Jeanne Dixon said so, it must be true.
I was very glad when that prophecy proved false. It is too bad I did not learn my lesson and turn a deaf ear to the false prophecies of the Watchtower. I did not believe in 1975 but I did think that Armageddon must come just a year or two later. 1980 was a shock to my system.

i go this idea from simons post on bob dylan's documentary.. my first choice would be..... joan baez.... she had the most beautiful voice, and with her excellent guitar picking, didn't need any backup music or singers.. next would be ...peter, paul and mary.

they could really harmonize magnificeintly.. what are your favorites?.
